VIRGINIA SMITH ELEMENTARY

Hi! My name is Taylor Murray! I have been a part of the Virginia Smith Elementary School Team for more than 10 years now! Wow, how time flies when you’re having fun!  My experience and back ground in speech include working with children and adults with various communication disorders in the school and clinical settings. Including:

      On a more personal note, I was born and raised in OKC, but spent a great deal of time out in Okarche and Piedmont. That is where most of the big Schwarz family is from and believe me there are a ton of us! You might even know a cousin or two of mine? I am a surviving product of OKC Public Schools, Classen School of Advanced Studies… GO COMETS!. After graduating at top of my class I went to Oklahoma State University…GO POKES!  I received my Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders, as well as, Psychology. After hanging out with the Orange & Black Cowboys I headed south to get my masters in Speech Language Pathology from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center…GO SOONERS! Yes I am a person divided, Bedlam gets so confusing for me… Orange & Black or Crimson & Cream?

        After all that schooling, I met my husband and transplanted to Luther. His name is Brian Murray and he is the Fire Chief in Bethany, OK. We have two wonderful boys, Bryar and Merritt.
